Emotional Eating

What is emotional eating?


Have you ever found yourself turning to food for comfort, stress relief, or even just to reward yourself? If the answer is yes, you might also notice that you tend to reach for junk food, sweets, and other comforting but unhealthy foods, in other words, empty calories. Maybe reaching for that tub of ice cream when you are feeling down, ordering a takeaway if you’re bored or lonely, or after a stressful day at work, stopping off at a drive-thru.


Emotional eating is using food to make yourself feel better. Using food to fill your emotional needs rather than your stomach. Afterwards, not only does the original emotional issue remain, but you feel guilty for overeating and thus you enter into a perpetual cycle of emotionally eating, eating more than you should, gaining weight and feeling guilty and powerless over this habit and then filling that emotional need with food, starting the cycle all over again.

  4. Develop and help you achieve your new weight management goals.


We use all our therapy tools from timeline therapy, NLP techniques and Hypnotherapy to help you identify what happened in the past that may have caused this issue, begin to change your story and lifestyle and help you to walk into a bright new you with a new healthy relationship with food. After each session, you will receive your personalised hypnosis tracks to listen to in-between sessions, as well as a wealth of information and guides to help change your subconscious mind.
